The Public Works Department were hard at work removing the helicopter located in the county lake from it pedestal in order to clean sanitize, repaint and replace all of the windows out of respect for all of our veterans. Special thanks goes out to our hard working crew that worked on the helicopter including:
Juan Rodriguez, Julio Vasques, Roberto Garcia, Gerardo Arzola, Israel Rodriguez, Narcisco Placencia, Mario Rodriguez, and Gilberto Sandoval. A special recognition to our painter Mr. Juan Torres.
The Eagle Pass Independent School District has partnered with local businesses throughout our city to highlight the Teacher of the Month program, which honors educators who have made a difference in our community. The program recognizes outstanding kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school teachers in Eagle Pass, Texas
On Friday, May 9, 2014, CTE students from the Eagle Pass FFA competed in the Wintergarden District FFA Public Speaking Contests in Poteet, TX. These students each had to research, write their own speeches, and memorize them.
