As of last March, Maverick County had raised the amount of $10,825,214.04 dollars in payment of taxes, the equivalent of a 90 or 95 percent of the register of taxpayers, according to Isamari Villarreal Tax-Assessor Collector for Maverick County.

Maverick County Commissioner's Court appointed seven members to what is known as the MC Public Facility Board of Directors who along with the administration of the Maverick County Detention Center and Maverick County Financial Advisor Robert Rodriguez will attempt to effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of what is becoming Maverick County's largest source of revenue.

Well on April 11th you will be able to do just that as the creative projects of the seven schools who received grants from the EPISD Education Foundation last year will be prominently on display at their annual gala scheduled for this date at the Residencial Events Center at 6:00 PM.
