After almost 22 years serving the community as part of the Eagle Pass Fire Department, Assistant Fire Chief Felix Carrazco is retiring.
Carrazco was honored at a ceremony held by the Fire Department on Thursday, April 27, where new firefighters, lieutenants, and the new assistant fire chief were presented.

The Texas House, dominated by Republicans, recently approved Senate Bill 4 on Thursday April 27 despite heavy scrutiny and protest. , requiring Texas municipal law enforcement agencies to enforce federal immigration law on individuals who are detained by their departments.
Professionals in the Eagle Pass area will have the opportunity to receive free training on sexual issues presented by the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault.
